CEYDA is a program of Forward Africa, specially designed for young people’s and development. The center offers specific youth-support services, aimed to provide beneficiaries with in-school curricular and extra-curricular learning and activities that will meaningfully engage young people to discover their talents, maximize their skills, live a healthy lifestyle and make better choices as they progress through life.
CEYDA operates a youth- friendly hub that creates an environment for various grooming programs and activities. The Young People’s Development Hub provides peer-to-peer learning series for young people through volunteer-facilitated classes, which enable peers (youth center beneficiaries) to engage in sharing ideas, best practices and develop innovative ways of providing services, solving problems and building inventions.
- Assist primary and secondary schools in providing specific lessons to pupils and students personal development, focusing on where the education curriculum captures less attention or studies.
- Provide after school engagement activities for post-secondary school students with experiential learning programs.
- Provide youths with Information, Communication and Educational (IEC) materials that will build the growth of their overall wellbeing.
The youth center is open to receive motivated and passionate volunteers who will offer to teach, groom and demonstrate their skills, abilities and experiences to young people at CEYDA
